About Gigpie

Our Mission

Owners of tutoring and coaching companies lose their evenings to admin: reconciling payments and working out what each coach is owed. Gigpie brings scheduling, billing, family management, and communication into one system so that time goes back into teaching.

We build for tutoring centers, music schools, test-prep companies, and coaching agencies in the size range where separate calendar, payment, and spreadsheet tools stop holding together: a few educators to a few dozen.

Our Story

Gigpie did not start on a whiteboard. It was built while running a real tutoring operation with 100 coaches, where the problems were concrete: a double-booked Tuesday afternoon, a package shared between siblings, payroll owed to a hundred people at once.

That operation still runs on Gigpie today. It is why the family is the billing unit rather than an afterthought, and why payroll is a workflow with drafts and approvals instead of a spreadsheet rebuilt every pay period.

Our Values

Simplicity First

Scheduling, billing, and payroll carry enough complexity on their own. If a feature needs a manual to understand, we haven't finished it.

Family-Centered Design

The family is the billing unit in Gigpie: one package can cover two siblings from a shared balance, and parents check schedules and remaining hours themselves in the portal instead of emailing you to ask.

Reliability Matters

When a parent needs to reschedule at 10 PM or a coach checks their schedule before driving to a lesson, the platform must work. We run our own operation on Gigpie, so we feel breakage the same way you would.

Transparent Pricing

Gigpie is a flat 2% of collections. There are no seat fees and no tiers, and it is free until you collect revenue. The worked math is on our pricing page.
