Overview
Use this guide to join a scheduled meeting with your student. You will navigate to the appointment details and click the join link to enter the video call.
Before you start
- You have an upcoming scheduled appointment.
- The meeting has a video conference link set.
- The appointment is within the joinable time window.
Best practices
Joining appointments on time creates a professional experience for students and parents. The join button becomes available 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time, giving you time to test your audio and video setup. Make a habit of joining a few minutes early so you're ready when the student arrives.
Common issues
If you don't see a join button, the appointment might not be within the joinable time window yet, or the meeting link may not be set. Check the details to confirm the meeting link is present. If you encounter technical issues with the video platform itself, those are separate from the scheduling system and should be resolved with your video conferencing provider.
